Advantage Physio provides a holistic and honest evidence-based treatment approach, tailored to our patients. We are located at Lifeline Gym, Oxted, where we have a high-quality therapy room, alongside a fully loaded gym to facilitate your care under our support and guidance.

Ali and Helen launched Advantage Physio in March 2023. They each have over 20 years of experience, gained within London’s most respected hospitals and through the private sector.

To us, there is no greater reward than seeing our patients work with us to achieve a common goal.

We appreciate that each patient has a different pathway back to full health. The first step to recovery is recognising the issue and reaching out for help. We are here to support you through every step.

Advanced Practitioner Physios (APPs), Ali and Helen have extensive experience in treating complex musculoskeletal conditions and sporting injuries,. They are clinical leads in their respective fields within First Community, linked with East Surrey Hospital, North Downs and Gatwick Spire.

Ali Lightbody MCSP, HCPC

Helen has extensive experience in treating all musculoskeletal conditions, with a specialist interest in the Upper Limb, working closely with Orthopaedic Consultants at East Surrey and North Downs Hospital. Helen obtained her Post graduate Diploma from the University of Hertfordshire. She holds membership to Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and British Elbow and Shoulder Society, with training in pilates.

Helen Hingston MCSP, HCPC, MMACP, PGDip

Alison has a wealth of experience in treating all musculoskeletal conditions and has a specialist interest in Spinal pain, working closely with the Orthopaedic Consultants in the local area. Having completed an extensive number of post graduate training and masters courses, to aid her assessment and treatment, including medical imaging, Musculoskeletal Triage and Pilates.
